NCSC Young People President - Minister Demarcus Williams
Demarcus is a 2003 graduate of NC State University in Raleigh, NC with a Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design. After rededicating his life to Christ in May of 2006, he decided he would commit himself totally to God and to the church; and he has done just that. Since then, Demarcus has been a proud and faithful member of Greater Emmanuel Temple of Grace in Durham, NC under the leadership of Bishop Marion E. Wright, Sr., the Diocesan of the North Carolina State Council of the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World, Inc. In September of 2006, he founded Greater Emmanuel's College Life Ministries, which reaches hundreds of college students per year primarily through Gospel Choir concerts, campus move-in assistance and Bible Studies. Since 2009, Demarcus has had the privilege to teach seminars for Young Adults at both the North Carolina State Council and the International Convention through the International Christian Education Association (ICEA). In November of 2010, Demarcus accepted the call to ministry and since his appointment to Director of Evangelism in January of 2011, has established ministries for his church to a local Homeless Shelter, Prison and has spearheaded an outreach effort involving school supply donations to an Elementary School in the church's neighborhood. Since August 2011, he has spearheaded his church's Back to School Community Day in conjunction with 2 other area churches that has served hundreds of people by giving away school supplies, food, clothes, free hair cuts, health screenings and more. In 2012 he was appointed as Teen Director for the North Carolina State Council's Young People's Union. Demarcus also presently serves as the Young Adult Teacher under the Christian Education Department, a member of the Ministerial Staff and Associate Pastor. His number one priority is winning souls for Jesus Christ. Professionally Demarcus is the Owner and Art Director of FRESHDESIGNZ, LLC, providing Graphic Design services to businesses of all sizes since 2003 and has also served as an Adjunct Instructor of Graphic Design at Wake Technical Community College since 2008. Demarcus believes that prayer, preaching and teaching coupled with compassion to address the needs of a hurting world are the keys to reconciling the world back to God.
